Danielle has been interested in the field of healing for years. At the age of 25, she co-founded Creative Clay, Inc., non-profit agency where she brought together the healing powers of the arts to people with developmental, physical and emotional challenges. After seeing the benefits of teaching yoga/meditation and relaxation to this population, she became certified as a yoga teacher in 2004 and has been teaching ever since. She has completed her 500-hour yoga certification through Asheville Yoga Center in November of 2018.. In June of 2015, Danielle founded The Yoga Service Movement, where her focus is bringing yoga, wellness, meditation and mindfulness practices to those who are unserved or underserved, making yoga accessible to everyone.
Danielle graduated from the Asheville School of Massage and Therapy in 2010. As a massage therapist, Danielle integrates Myofascial, Swedish, Deep Tissue, Massage Cupping and Trigger Point Therapy. She has also received extensive training in Ayurvedic therapies such as Abhyanga, Shirodhara and Nasya Treaments. Danielle has studied with David Crow, internationally known master herbalist, aromatherapist and Ayurvedic Scholar to delve deeper into aromatherapy and using essential oils to help bring mind, body and spirit in unison. She also studied with Dr. Light Miller, Author and Educator of Ayurveda and Aromatherapy.
Graduating from California College of Ayurveda in 2008, she received her education as an Ayurvedic Health Educator. She has studied with Dr. Halpern, Founder of California College of Ayurveda, receiving a certificate as an Ayurvedic Yoga Therapist as well. Danielle works one on one to Ayurvedic sessions to
incorporate the Ayurvedic principles with yoga asanas, pranayama, and self-care practices. She completed further certification as an Ayurvedic Practitioner at New World Ayurveda and graduated June of 2016. She has over 2,000 hours of Ayurvedic studies and applications. She has also worked at Blue Lotus Ayurveda and Art of Living Ayurvedic Center as a Pancha Karma Therapist along with her own successful private practice.
Danielle cannot imagine doing anything else than working with people in the field of holistic modalities. First hand, she has seen the healing powers of these philosophies in helping relieve
stress, finding more balance, and physically and mentally feeling healthier. Now more than ever she wants to be able to reach more people with her message and her knowledge of how to find their true spirit.
